Blockchain tracking firm Arkham Intelligence has labeled a set of suspicious wallets as “THORChain Exploiter” addresses, with one Bitcoin-linked wallet holding close to 36.85 BTC — worth roughly $3 million — and a separate Ethereum wallet carrying around 216 ETH. The funds are sitting there, visible on-chain, linked to two addresses that security researchers have […]

Ethereum pressure mounts as the ETHBTC pair breaks down from a key descending triangle structure. The weakening performance against Bitcoin suggests that bearish momentum may still be dominating the market, leaving Ethereum vulnerable to deeper pullbacks unless bulls quickly reclaim critical resistance levels. ETHBTC Trendline Rejection Keeps Pressure On Ethereum Crypto analyst Ardi recently pointed out that Ethereum continues to face weakness against Bitcoin as ETHBTC keeps rejecting a major descending trendline. Repeated rejections from this structure increase the likelihood of Ethereum printing fresh cycle lows against the US dollar if broader market conditions weaken further. The post Ethena’s USDe supply on Solana rises by over $450M in 4 days appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com.
Ethena’s synthetic dollar USDe just had a very good week on Solana. The token’s supply on the network surged by more than $450 million in just four days, a pace of capital inflow that most DeFi protocols would be thrilled to see over an entire quarter. The growth is particularly striking in relative terms. USDe’s supply on Solana is now approaching ten times the amount circulating on HyperliquidX, making Solana the clear center of gravity for USDe liquidity outside of Ethereum. What’s behind the surge USDe isn’t your typical stablecoin. It’s a synthetic dollar created by Ethena Labs, which launched the token in February 2024. Unlike USDC or USDT, which are backed by traditional reserves held in bank accounts, USDe maintains its peg through a delta-neutral hedging strategy. THORChain, the decentralized cross-chain liquidity protocol, has launched a recovery portal following a confirmed $10 million exploit on May 11, 2026. The breach impacted 12,847 wallets across Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), BNB Chain, and Base. The portal, live as of May 16, allows affected users to check their compensation and submit refund claims, supported by a treasury-funded refund pool of equivalent size. The incident, revealed via a PeckShield post-mortem, was traced to a vulnerability in THORChain’s GG20 threshold signature scheme (TSS). This flaw reportedly allowed an attacker to gradually leak sensitive vault key data, ultimately enabling unauthorized transactions. The attacker drained 36
The post Bitcoin Struggles Below Resistance While Fibonacci Support Comes Into Focus appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com.
Bitcoin continues to face strong resistance as bulls struggle to reclaim higher price levels and restore upward momentum. With the market failing to break key resistance zones, attention is now shifting toward major Fibonacci support areas, where buyers could attempt to stabilize the current decline and prevent a deeper correction. Recovery Hopes Fade Unless Resistance Levels Break After failing to break above the $82,885 resistance peak, Bitcoin is experiencing selling pressure. According to crypto analyst Kamile Uray, the 4-hour chart still points to ongoing downside risk, with price action likely to remain weak as long as Bitcoin trades below the critical $78,203 level. Uray explained that if BTC remains under $78,203, the decline could continue toward the $74,929 region, where buyers may attempt to step in and slow the downward momentum. However, failure to ge
