Depending on your interests and tastes, it can be easy to miss cultural phenomena, and that definitely happened with me and Swapped, a Netflix animated feature that has just broken a significant record on the service. Yes, something even KPop Demon Hunters can’t match. Swapped, which stars 2025 Oscar winner Michael B. Jordan, Juno Temple, Tracy Morgan and Cedric the Entertainer, now has the largest audience of any Netflix animated movie ever over a seven-day period, where it hit 38.7 million views between May 4-10 after its original debut on May 1, whereas KPop’s biggest week was 30.1 million.
