The post Robinhood News: Robinhood Chain Is Quietly Making the Bullish Case for ETH appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com.
Key Insights: Ethereum security comes into focus as Robinhood news outlines the growing Ethereum L2 adoption. Ethereum secures $76B in staked ETH while Layer 2 growth expands. BitMine raises its holdings to 5.74M ETH as Ethereum nears the $1,800. Robinhood news came into focus after the launch of Robinhood Chain strengthened debate around Ethereum’s role as the security layer used by major financial platforms. While the new blockchain operates as an Ethereum L2, its activity depends on Ethereum’s base network for settlement, data availability, and security. That relationship has shifted from transaction fees toward the economic value of securing the network. At the same time, Ethereum’s recent price recovery, ongoing protocol upgrades, and continued institutional accumulation have added background to the discussion. The post Prediction markets are transforming into aggressive derivatives platforms appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com.
World, a Chainlink-powered prediction market launched in the Phantom wallet on Solana on July 1, said recently that it is moving to Robinhood Chain. The move shifts the project from Solana’s crypto-focused users to Robinhood’s roughly 28 million customers, prompting some users to accuse it of using Solana to gain attention before leaving. After more than two years of teasers, the concept debuted in Phantom, a well-known Solana wallet. It allowed players to wager on the price of Bitcoin and the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with rewards issued in Phantom’s CASH stablecoin and results validated by Chainlink. The initiative closed after seven days, citing “careful deliberation in the last 24 hours.” The announcement gave no reason for the shutdown, mentioned no technical issues, and did not explain what would happen to open bets. The move was unexpected, as World had recently sa

Robinhood Chain sees 35% surge The data further showed that the massive $101.03 million milestone in its TVL has come after the network saw a rapid surge of 35.75% in the metric over the last 24 hours. ‘Not Happening’: Former SWIFT Exec Shuts Down XRP Integration Rumors XRP, Shiba Inu, Solana (SOL) and Ethereum (ETH) Price Analysis for June 10: Market Fuel Comes In Handy In addition to this, Robinhood Chain has also recorded over $473 million in its daily DEX trading volume, while its stablecoin market capitalization has climbed
The post Why former Bank of America strategist sees an Ethereum ‘tactical bottom’ appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com.
Stephen Suttmeier, former Head of Technical Strategy at Bank of America, believes Ethereum could be forming a “tactical bottom.” In his recent analysis report, Suttmeier said that if the price stays above $1690-$1700, it would support his thesis of the altcoin forming a tactical low above its June lows. Another confirmation for this bottoming pattern would be a reclaim of $1800. His projection was based on technical analysis, particularly using moving averages (MA) to gauge short- and long-term momentum shifts. As of press time, the Ethereum [ETH] price has briefly stalled below the 50-day MA (DMA). Should the 50DMA be decisively reclaimed as support (ETH price above $1800), the next upside target would be the 200-day MA(blue line) at $2.2K, Suttmeier added. That would imply a 25% upside potential if the $2.1K obstacle is cleared. Source: ETH/USDT, TradingView In fa
The post Specter Flags CodexField as a Potential $85M Rug Pull appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com.
On-chain investigator Specter flagged CodexField as a potential rug pull tied to $85M in activity. Specter traced $17.3M moving from TRON to Ethereum, with $10.8M still linked to tracked wallets. BNB Chain previously promoted CodexField after its 2023 Hackvolution hackathon win. On-chain sleuth Specter has flagged CodexField as a potential rug pull after tracing more than $85 million in project-linked activity across blockchains. The alert followed the movement of $17.3 million in USDT from TRON toward Ethereum before conversion into DAI through Bitget Swap on Polygon. Specter said $6.5 million had already moved, while another $10.8 million remained linked to the tracked wallets. Cross-Chain Transfers Put Project Wallets Under Scrutiny According to the investigation, the funds originated from Ethereum about six months earlier via a wallet linked to the project’s deposit contract. The post Robinhood Chain scams are already costing users dearly appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com.
Robinhood (Nasdaq:HOOD) launched the public mainnet of its new blockchain on July 1, and unfortunately, tons of people are already losing money trading its coins. Bad actors are using a variety of scam contracts, memecoin rug-pulls, phishing links, and garden variety theft, leading to complaints of loss flooding onto social media. Relay Protocol warned about scam tokens on the new Robinhood Chain: “If you bought one, the funds you spent are unfortunately gone.” In this example, scam contracts are accepting a token swap, briefly crediting the buyer’s wallet yet immediately transferring the tokens back to the deployer’s wallet. In other words, users unwittingly purchased tokens for someone else. Another trader alleged that Robinhood Wallet’s default sell screen auto-populated a Robinhood Chain scam coin called USER. Unless someone modified that default, the position would vaporize. “$600
The post Arbitrum (ARB) Price Prediction 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029, 2030-2050 appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com.
Bullish ARB price prediction for 2026 ranges from $0.25 to $0.35. ARB could hit $0.20 in 2026 with Robinhood Chain fee-sharing confirmed and March 2027 vesting completion removing monthly unlock pressure. The bearish ARB price prediction for 2026 is $0.07. Arbitrum hit an all-time low of $0.07067 in June 2026, down 97% from its $2.40 peak, while securing $18 billion in TVL across 100+ live Orbit chains including Robinhood’s new Layer 2. On July 9, Offchain Labs co-founder Steven Goldfeder announced 10% of fees from every Orbit chain plus 100% of Arbitrum One fees flow back to ARB tokenholders, sending the token up 13%. That gap between network performance and token price is the entire ARB story, and this price prediction covers whether the fee-sharing model finally closes it through 2050. What Is Arbitrum (ARB)? Arbitrum is Ethereum’s largest Layer-2 scaling solution, built b
The post Founders Debate Ethereum L2 Value After Robinhood Chain Launch appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com.
Ethereum L2 debate returns as Robinhood launches an ETH-denominated Layer-2 network. Founders debate whether Layer-2s strengthen Ethereum or shift activity from its base layer. Leighton Cusack said Ethereum’s value comes from ETH adoption, liquidity, and asset issuance. The role of Ethereum in the Layer-2 ecosystem is back in focus after the launch of Robinhood’s Ethereum-denominated Layer-2 network. World Network co-founder Leighton Cusack argued that recent bullish developments are being framed as negatives because of weak market sentiment. Cusack said Ethereum has been “so abused for the last two years” that even positive news, like Robinhood launching an ETH-denominated L2, is being portrayed negatively. “Narratives follow price,” he added. L2s and Ethereum’s Value Capture In response, Multicoin Capital managing partner Kyle Samani repeated his long-held view that Layer-2
