Artificial intelligence is restructuring medicine from the exam room to the lab bench. The companies doing it most consequentially are not just digitizing old workflows — they are replacing the underlying logic of how care gets documented, how drugs get discovered, how patients move through the system, and how clinicians access knowledge. From cardiothoracic imaging to whole-brain […]
For years, software developers on H-1B visas benefited from steady demand among US technology employers. That market is becoming more selective as companies redirect spending toward AI and rely more heavily on coding assistants.
Recent layoffs at companies including Meta and Amazon have added to the uncertainty, with engineering and software roles affected even as major technology companies continue to deepen investments in AI.
Developers and analysts say traditional engineering roles are becoming harder to land, recruiters are asking more often for AI-related experience, and workers are being pushed to keep pace with tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT.
The shift is being driven by both AI investment and broader economic uncertainty, according to Pareekh Jain, CEO of Pareekh Consulting. Companies are changing the profile of the developers they want, hiring fewer people in some areas while paying more for AI talent.

The rapid uptake of agentic AI has exposed a range of issues with our non-deterministic helpers. That’s mainly because AI agents are not people and don’t behave like people, even though they generally use the same APIs as humans. For one thing, they make many more queries than a human would, as they build the necessary context to deliver a response.
Anecdotal data from companies that have worked with agents or who have users who access services through agents indicate that this can mean massive increases in API usage, which have affected availability. This increase is the result of automated requests flooding in and blocking calls and responses from APIs that worked perfectly well a year or so ago but now are struggling to cope with the load.
A fundamental redesign of our APIs is necessary, but budgets, resourcing, and capacity make this hard to deliver overnight. What’s needed, then, is a way to manage agent interactions with APIs, treating agents as a new class of user, providing and

There's a moment in every technology cycle when a tool stops being a competitive edge and starts becoming essential to work. For AI in B2B marketing, that time has arrived.
